Lovely - really like the colour scheme too.

got someone interested in the f+f, but price for frame, both forks and ritchey headset would be £380
groupset £250
wheels £100 with tyres and tubes -
• #11
gonna try a price drop to £750 before i put it on ebay this evening
maybe worth pointing out as well that roberts closed up shop fairly recently...

• #15
Tbh it's not in that sorry a state - it just looks quite bad because I took a lot of photos to show the damage without cleaning the bike. I'll give it a wipe down this evening and get some new photos up
-
• #16
£743
-
• #17
You could easily respray this bike and still be several hundred pounds below the price of a new frameset, nevermind that it's unclear when they'll be starting up again...a bargain even in this "sad" condition
-
• #18
To be honest I think it is quite unlikely that they will be restarting, knowing some of the people involved, and the selling off of all stock etc.
Plausible this is a, wait for it...... future classic!
-
• #19
Is that a one inch HT or 1 1/8?
-
• #20
^^ thanks guys - i think its a pretty good price!
kind of need it gone now though so will split it up if theres interest:groupset, wheels, tyres and tubes - £310
frame, both forks and headset - £380
bars + stem + seat post - £50i'm also looking for a few things, so i would do a part trade of some sort for a garmin or a selle SMP saddle
or grab the whole bike for the bargain price of £740!

Mmmmmmm. This is exactly what I'm looking for, but I ride a 52cm. Good luck with the sale though.
-
• #24

final price drop: £700
this is a bargain price so will not go lower than that.
hello,
i'm selling my road bike, because a recent bike fit has shown that it is a few sizes too small for me, and I've got something better fitting on the way, so -
the frame dimensions are:
seat tube (c-c) 55.5cm
top tube (c-c) 55cm
head tube 14cm
It has a very slightly downwards sloping top tube
build list:
Roberts 853 - ("butted frame and stays" - not just main triangle) frame, roberts forks - the bb shell is pantographed '853' on one side and 'roberts' on the other side. 'ritchey' stamped dropouts.
Colnago flash forks
sram rival 22 groupset
shimano rs11 wheels
gatorskin 23c tyres
3t arx 100mm stem (not the thomson pictured)
fsa vero 40cm compact bars (i think)
ritchey comp headset
thomson seatpost
fizik arione saddle
£800
the group set and wheels are in very good condition, less than 1000 miles, tyres replaced very recently, and the whole bike was set up and dialled in by my lbs and still running smoothly.
i actually rode it to brighton yesterday and can confirm that it was a pleasure to ride, the one thing i noticed was that the seat post slipped a bit early in the ride, but then i tightened it up a bit more and it didn't slip for the rest of the ride.
the saddle is very worn, the frame has a small ding on the top tube and a bit of rust (notably on the rear brake bridge) the original threaded forks are also quite rusty and chipped - i'll get photos sorted of this and the ding today. oh also the small light blue patches on the frame are where there was a bit of surface rust so i cleaned and treated it - then painted it in nail varnish.
collection in brixton, i'd prefer not to post it because i just got rid of all of my cardboard boxes… but if you're interested then I'm sure i can work something out.
thanks
