  • I think that's just about perfect position, but maybe a little further forward would be better, hard to tell as I've not been able to do it, obviously.

    I have been thinking about selling my fixed because of this, but there's not much out there instead of it, again because of seat tube angle and frame size...

  • Buying track frame may help, like the Dolan FXE where the largest model have a 74 degree seat angle.

    Personally, I think your scenario might be worth looking into a bike fitting to ensure your next bike will be 100%.

    My custom bikes (both of them) have the saddle slammed forward despite having a sensible 73 degrees seat tube, look a little off but still feel comfortable.

  • Hey Ed, I had a bike fit. Went to see Scherrit which was how I found out I needed the saddle so far forward.

    I briefly built up a Precursa but the front was way too low and there's a ridiculous amount of seatpost on show.
