  • Mark Halsey - former referee and Chelsea hating scum:

"As for what Jose Mourinho said about only him being punished by the FA, I think he's right."

"Bolton boss Neil Lennon was recently fined £3,500 for saying: "I've never seen a more biased performance from a referee ." - "What Lennon said is far, far worse than what Mourinho said and I think he got a £3,500 fine."

"Im just as miffed as Chelsea and Mourinho because the punishment far exceeds for the crime"

  • Meh, £50k fine is meaningless to someone with those wages anyway.

1 match stadium ban slightly more annoying, but I'm sure he'll have a way of working around it (ah, it's suspended anyway). He'll get that reduced upon appeal more than likely.

Deducting points is the only way you'll stop this kind of thing if it becomes more prevalent and really needs to be stopped. I don't think there's much of a problem with it anyway although the FA have to be seen to be doing something against someone calling into question the quality of the referees (which, alongside the ability to painfully review each decision in slo-mo for hours after the fact, is the main problem).
