Personal preference and all but I'm not a fan of straight pull spokes (can be a pain to get spares or have to order in). Also I'd want a higher spoke count but it depends on what you want to use it for. You can get dyno wheels with front and rear LED lights on German ebay for around £50. Admittedly the Alfine hub may be better (over standard Shimano) and you have to pay postage (£15) but worth mentioning.

Thanks for the links, ordered from the same shop (but just a wheel as I have a spare IQ Fly and assorted cables lying around somewhere): http://stores.ebay.co.uk/partsforbike-online/_i.html?_nkw=dynamo+28&_sid=60732813&_sop=2&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14
That and a Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyre should make for a bombproof and faff proof front wheel for the commuting bike.
Looking at Dynohubs for this winter, have spotted this, http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/700c-front-wheel-shimano-alfine-wh-s501-v-24h-rim-with-shimano-dynohub-6v-05a-3w-in-black-prod37210/
anyone have any idea of quality ect? look an awful lot cheaper than the SON options
