And don't bother building 'all rounder' bike. Such thing doesn't exist. You need a winter bike that can take mudguards (if UK) and a summer bike that can't. Disc brakes are still primitive (think iPhone 3Gs) wait another year.Or just get a Genesis Datum.

I think I want to build a super-commuter all-rounder thing.
Kinesis 4S Disc with Ultegra Di2 and disc brakes. How much would this cost me? Better to wait a bit or wait until next year or something? Where can I buy a disc Di2 groupset?!
