Lobster: Made it to the end, found it genuinely unpleasant. Did not enjoy.
Unlike Sicario, which was reasonably unpleasant in a totally different way and I did enjoy (but also not a film to take your bairn to)

It's not really as surreal as the trailer made out; I get that it's supposed to be weird but there's just a pervasive air of unnecessary nastiness that I couldn't get through. I was engaged for the duration of it, so it's perfectly watchable and quite tight, just very much not very nice.
