From my experience:
- It doesn't work in preview mode, so you may have to edit your post a few times to get it right
- Wrap the text in two tilde characters (
~~) - Do it one sentence at a time, push for an entire paragraph if you're feeling lucky
- Do not have a space immediately between the text and double tilde
Examples:
~~this is text is deleted~~
↓
this is text is deleted
~~ this doesn't work due to a space immediately between text and double tilde ~~
↓
~~ this doesn't work due to a space immediately between text and double tilde ~~ - It doesn't work in preview mode, so you may have to edit your post a few times to get it right
