Not being funny but because that has a flat area to mount the brake, won't it look a bit weird anyway?
I can understand wanting to do this if your blades flex when braking, I had filled a (badly drilled) brake hole on a track fork once, but that was a double plate / round steerer interface so it made sense to undo the shit drilling.
As the fork doesn't look like a match to the frame anyway it all seems a bit pointless. #justsayin
