I couldn't really get into it the free demo, prequel thingy. Looks nice, I want to like it but kinda dull.

Some of the early telltale games are O.K. like Back To The Future, it's their latest stuff that really shine.
The Wolf Among Us feel like you're part of the comic book narrator the entire time watching what would happen if you ask a different question/act differently.

Just moved into the new flat after months of no permanent base. Can't wait to play again, got the n64 zeldas lined up on the wii u and starcraft II.
Has anyone played neptune's pride? It's a browser based space strategy which is played in real time (you get paid at the same time every day and ships might take a few hours to move/attack). It's amazing, my mates and I play every year before the academic year gets too intense and the rivalries/alliances/backstabbing is so good. We usually try and keep the in game identities secret so we'll be discussing the game wondering who the knobber is that's currently sending everything they have at you etc etc

Has anyone played neptune's pride?
I've never even heard of it before but it looks like a lot of fun. My workmates have an irregular board games night so it seems like something they'd be interested in.

In an office of people who were into it I can imagine it would be amazing. Another good thing about it is that moves are irreversible, so once ships start moving from one star to another you can't do anything until they get there. That means if you set an attack up at 9am the other guy will have time to get reinforcements there and you won't be able to cancel the move. If you set an attack going at midnight though...

Think I read about this on RPS. Sounded good, although as mentioned, getting up at 3am to launch sneak attacks can >>>>

Finished Snake Eater and started playing Peace Walker, but I am struggling to get into it. I hope that MGSV isn't going to be like Peace Walker. I imagine that it will be though.

Has anyone played neptune's pride?
I played a couple of games, it was ok. It kind of took over for a while, especially as people can play on their phones.

Think I'm going to have to get an Xbone.

Dooooo it.
Honestly, they're great machines.

I've decided to hold out until Black Fri but I'm still on the fence about XBone or PS4 - opinions?
-
• #13694
I'd go Xbone as I have a 360 and some stuff is back compatible now apparently.
-
• #13695
Yeah I've always been up for Xbox but I'm still to be convinced it's the better console
-
• #13696
your back compatible now apparently.

Backwards compatibility comes in November though i have the "beta" dashboard with it at the moment and it works really well. Just launch it like any other game (disc or digital works) and it behaves just like a 360 (including the guide / look and feel).
I think the Xbox is a better all round console (xbox live, backwards compatibility, apps, TV etc) and the exclusive games are great but the PS4 definitely has the edge (although not massive) in terms of graphics.
I may end up getting a PS4 for their exclusives like No Man's Sky & Uncharted...

And The Last of Us, and Until Dawn.
-
• #13699
I played the Last of Us on Ps3 and so i don't need to play it again. Until Dawn doesn't really appeal to me....
Rocket League however...

It's what stopping me from getting the Xbox due to those games only run on the PS4
Also, I think I've given up on MGSV. I was away for a bit over a week and now have no desire to load it up.
