@Hovis- maybe, but I'm not sure I could stay out that long.
Would consider a c. 40 mile excursion- which probably is too short for you SE Londoners, but I'd need to be back relatively early. Will update later.

Just had lunch, nothing else to be excited about in the work day. Going to be a long push.

@Hovis I know where you mean- Beddle/Toys/Ide/Star- correct?
I may be tempted if we remove Ide and Star and replace with Brasted and Cudham, and even that is seeming like a proper challenge given the headwind from the North, that and Brasted being a total bitch.

I'm out for tomorrow- Will be riding north, alone and a bit early for my liking before carrying out some errands. (or I may just miss the riding and go straight to errands).
(have to be back earlier than a trip south would make it possible).

Ah shame! I'll have a lie in and do my ride at a more humane hour.

I'm going to do a 100km loop in Essex tomorrow - 8.30 start. Anyone welcome to join.

Where you starting from? Looking to do something tomorrow but not worked it out yet. Also gears or fixed?

Starting for Highbury, but happy to meet anywhere on the way out, either Lea Bridge Road or Forest Road. Will be geared. Was thinking to ride a mix of tow path, forest paths, road, which would be doable on robust 25s. Happy to do road only if you prefer. Will be winter paced, about 25km/h.

That sounds really nice - I don't have the right bike or probably enough time to enjoy it. Sounds great though, enjoy!

The loop I did on Sunday also inspired me to set up some all-road LFGSS club runs in Essex over Autumn / Winter, if there is any interest.

This sounds like fun, though if anything like what @eyebrows road rides I think I'll be at the back trying to keep up with you strong lads!
