Never mind pictures, I'm looking forward to video of laner and tester disappearing over the horizon at unheard-of velocities, brakes melting as they go

I've got a cold, the weather is shit, there's no way anybody is going to be ready to race on the back of this by Thursday morning.

Pic or it didn't happen.

• #131
It's not going to happen. I might post a pic on Thursday morning to prove it :-)

Progress?

I have the jig to drill the brake bridge, and I have new BR-5700 calipers to fit. Once I can comfortably work on anything, I'll join the dots.

How is the hip? Diagnosis? Treatment?

T3 going spare?
-
• #136
It's a lumbar spine issue, the T3 is staying, if anything I'm more comfortable on the RollerFort than I am in the web surfing chair.

So what's left to do?
-

Just needs a cable to the rear brake and it will be rideable. It has a Tektro front brake at the moment, which I'll change to a BR-5700 to match the rear, and I'm going to swap from red Keo classics to black Exustar EPR16 pedals just for colour coordination and because the metal Exustars are probably more robust than the plastic Looks (and a third of the price)

...I'm going to swap ... to black Exustar EPR16 pedals ... and because the metal Exustars are probably more robust than the plastic Looks ...
I can't speak for the EPR16s but EPR100s are in no shape or form 'robust' and the bit that was most commonly and catastrophically breaking on the 100s for us was bit that pivots and engages the cleat and that looks to be plastic on the 16s too.

I've been using the EPR16s on the RollerFort ever since I snapped the cleat hook off a Keo Flex.

Has this been resolved yet?

It's ready to ride

Pic or it didn't happen.
It happened:

With the 64T ring hijacked for use on the RollerFort (and it was on the verge of being too small anyway, with 6-bolt sprockets only going down to 16T short of messing around with funny bolts and possibly machining the hub shell and/or swapping to a lower profile chain), the CAD has been fired up in pursuit of something with a bit more headroom. Suggestions are invited for things to laser etch or engrave onto the proposed dinner plate

Can I borrow it to pose with on the T3?

Golf dots obviously:
like cargo cult aero markings
I could be convinced in to stoking, if it's ready in time and i would fit (5ft7)
