i have finished building the bike.
got the wheelset from my other beater. got the chainset from my pelizzoli. 68x110mm bottom bracket is spot on this frame, if JIS chainset is used. 47T chainring and 18T freewheel, easy enough to drive.
brake cables with housing were £1.45 each
total cost is 214.4
i realy, really like this bike. bars&stem combo is super comfy, 35c tyres are very comfortable to ride on.
but there is one problem, rear wheel rim is too narrow for the 38c tyre. the tyre does not sit on the rim tight. what is the right rim width for the 35c MTB tyre?
