I don't believe that the shop will be going back into the same space after re-development, I also don't believe that the shop will be temporarily moving with their current landlord.
I belive the £40k will enable the shop to move quickly on any premises that become available and are suitable in Brixton.
Sorry for being cagey about what I'm writing. I can speak for the Club in absolute terms, but talking about the shop and their current situation and future plans with any certainly is probably best left to the Co-op members.
I hope that makes sense?
If you want exact details I'm sure if you phone the shop or pop in they will happily chat about it.

Does anyone know why they need to raise 40k in a month?
A quick google earlier this morning found articles from the beginning or the year noting their current premises were being re-developed and they would likely be moving back to the location once the redevelopment has been completed.
Has something big changed? or am I very out of touch.
