Noticed that my front tyre was going down more rapidly than the rear - both latex, so deflation expected, just not the rate.
Sure enough there was a pretty big thorn stuck in the front tyre - the sealant meant that I'd not noticed the thorn going in, but it'd not been able to seal it perfectly hence the slow air leak.
I pulled the thorn out, span the wheel a couple of times and left it for ten minute to stop fizzing, then pumped it up and went to bed - worked perfectly this morning (without needing to put any more air in).
So sample size to one side for the moment I am happy with how this experiment is going.
