She's still eating, drinking, doing her business and in general, acting like a cat.
One thing did change. I just remembered this started around the same time. They are renovating the outside of the apartment building I live in and they put scaffolding on the outside of the building. When one of the workers that cleans or paints the building steps on it and I'm home, she comes to fetch me to the window to show me there is someone there. Maybe she's a bit scared of that.

If it's not a cry for help, like she is still eating, drinking, doing her busines normally etc, then she is just being a cat. Mine does it sometimes. Sometimes wehn she sees me she runs a mile then comes towards me meowing endlessly until she realises I will not respond until I am out of bed.
All cats are weird.
