I once got in on a cold night, propped my bike near a radiator and the hub flange cracked.
(Hope mono, radial laced)
Radiator are death

That happened to me. But i'd not even ridden it. Built it up, left it above an old CRT monitor for a couple of days. Pop. Bits of hub side wall scattered over the room.

Contacted Hope, they said its because I'd radially laced it.

yep, same story here - I was expecting Hope to give me a replacement and investigate the failure.....
I've since switched my allegiances from Hope to Goldtec!
