Warm, very. Good for down to a few degrees below zero with a merino base layer and a merino collar. It's windproof rather than waterproof, but like a Gabba it'll keep you warm even if it gets wet. It's quite thin, so if you're standing around for a long time you'll get cold, but so long as you keep riding it's an excellent bit of kit. Even if I do look like a total gimp wearing it...
