Trying to convince myself I can fit this......I ride a 54 colnago dream road bike.
Where did you find it too big? Stretch on the arms even with the shorter stem?

Also are there any marks on the frame?

Frame has a bit of cosmetic wear. To be honest I'm telling myself it can fit and I'm now selling my 1972 super pista 52cm if it would fit better?

I can vouch for this frame being even nicer in the flesh than in the photos. Unfortunately it's confirmed as too big for me. Best of luck with the sale.
