There's a steel frame underneath that carbon
We started by building a "frame" made from ultra-thin 1" AerMet tubing. This was purely to hold in alignment the key points: Head bearings, BB bearings, rear wheel attachments, seat pin. This flexible but very strong tubing ensured we started with perfect alignment, but without the carbon fibre it couldn't even be ridden.
