No, the Only Watch one-off didn't have a snowflake handset, and it had red text on the dial. This is (apparently) a production version that will be launched next week.

Watch repairs.
I have a watch taht's been sitting around for years. It was my Grandad's. I got it over 20 years ago. I'd like to have it properly looked at, it's nowt special but I wouldn't mind having it working again.Preferably local. Preferably reasonable.
Who? Where?Muchos muchos.

Actually, we should charge them a £1 referral fee... we could be rich... ...Rodders....

Anyone know if Alsal's also deal with cheaper watches, in particular a quartz Accurist. It was an 18th birthday present many years ago so would be nice to get it running again.
I tried Timpson's but they were stumped.

Try them. Sometimes with quartz movements you can just substitute the entire movement. They don't cost much.
-
• #17362
Yes, I've emailed them and they siad bring it in for a look. Just need to find time to get down there during their limited opening hours now.

Awesome. Tudor, I take it all back...That'll be the nicest of the Black Bay variants, and maybe all modern Tudors yet.
Does it have the new in-house movement?

Thanks
It's not a star, but kind of a burning goblet of some sort. And yes, the cheapest nato available. -
• #17365
Ahh ok nice. Mine runs great for such an old watch.
-
• #17366
Black Bay is nice.
Think I still prefer the gold with a red bezel tho.
Not sure about the snowflake hands on a Mercedes dial either.

Last Page,
Tissot, Longines and Hamilton. All superb.

Bloody bastardz... Lovely...
-
• #17369
Does it have the new in-house movement?
Suspect not, that will probably require a redesigned case, this seems more like a quick cash-in on the popularity of the Only Watch.
-
• #17370
yup, running strong and loud.
I particularly like the smack of the crown when you let go of it after winding. -
• #17371
never mind

That's lovely

Tried a Pepsi today. Only issue is they admitted to replacing the bezel with a new one.
That's a one-off going in the Only Watch auction. Just another example of the Rolex group trolling it's customers.
