Hoping for a puddle or two at race 2. Puddles make xc running 'fun'.

our course on Wimbledon was surprisingly tough, not much mud and pretty dry underfoot. we won the fixture as a team and then dominated the pub as well. Wasabi on the way home sorted me out a treat. legs have been quite heavy since.
Am looking at either Wokingham or Cardiff as a spring half marathon.

Happy days, found one significant puddle and made the most of it each lap, was defo 3 or 4 seconds quicker than those mincing around it.
Trail shoes dry enough to pedal home wearing them. Stopped for a replenishing beer so not quite home yet.
