Did anyone notice if The Lamb had Wi-Fi?
-
• #3808
They finally had enough of your 4G abuse?
-

Ha! I'm in charge of sending the knuckle slap emails when people go postal on their data usage, so in true dictator style I send the mail then chuckle to myself and unpause Netflix while tethered on my laptop downloading a 800mb driver update.
Trouble is I believe the phone signal is shit in The Lamb and I was going to take the laptop down there and "work from home" ..but it might just be easier to bring booze into work -

Did anyone notice if The Lamb had Wi-Fi?
I think it did, I was feeling a little funny in the head.

• #3821
not aimed at you, but I'm linking it to your post.
But everyone whose posting up about giving up drinking for 31days, and how we should clap and cheer for them gets my fucking goat!
It's not that fucking hard, get over yourselves and as @greenhell would say, get in the fucking sea! -
• #3822
I don't want claps and cheers. I want to know that I'm not too addicted and give my liver a break.
How hard or not it may be is probably personal. How difficult did you find it last time?

I've been taking 3 months off for the past four years, its generally a piece of piss, which is why I take issue with the wow isn't it amazing I'm not drinking for a month.
You get bored of drinking soft drinks, you leave earlier half eight nine at the latest, you realise you can do a whole lot more in a day when you don't spend the first several hours recovering from a hangover, you've got a lot more money in your wallet when you're not buying rounds... -
• #3824
You've never bought a round Corny...

I am thinking that I want to make these prolonged abstinences a more regular thing.
I drink far too much and have real issues with moderation. Perhaps a better model for me is full abandon interspersed with complete restraint.
Next time we see each other, @cornelius_blackfoot, can we chat about it?
6pm I reckon.
