I'm hoping they'll fit fairly well, there's a bit of stack to the pads with the current bars and I quite like having the lower base bar compared with the inline Tula bar. Used to run Planet X Stealth bars for that reason.

Was this frame originally intended for use with gears? Any issues with chainring/chainstay clearance, or getting the rear wheel secure in dropouts which weren't meant for a fixed wheel?

Yes, originally a geared P2C with a trashed front hanger which I modified and got resprayed. No problem with the cranks/chainrings or rear wheel, but obviously you have to space them out to 130mm rather than 120mm.
