Well why don't they say that anywhere then? There's nothing on their twitter feed or instagram that indicates where it will be, not what zone, not what general area. Just a vague, we'll announce the location on Friday (aren't we clever being all coy and surprisey!)
For people who might perhaps have other things to do on a particular day (and making plans with other people) and are trying to weigh up what are the best options, it's nice to be able to have at least a vague idea of whether something is feasible to attend or not.

Arguably it is in fact within zone 3, so you can embrace the clandestine nature of it and GTFO on your bike and join in the fun.
