unable to upload images

Hi I'm trying to post a sale item and the 'upload a file' button on the 'post a conversation' page isn't working. Using a mac, I get the little hand icon when I hover over the button but nothing at all happens when I press it. Don't have trouble uploading images elsewhere. Can anyone help?

get the jpeg description and click image at the top of the reply box
post your image in there then post reply

what is the .jpeg link you are trying to post
paste in the thread and i'll see if i can get it to work

Thanks for responding dicki and forgive my ignorance. I'm trying to upload images from iphoto on my mac, if I just drag an image into the reply pane it gives me this:

Formatting Help

That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.

```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.

If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
