Lately I've been trying to avoid swearing in these kind of interactions. So instead I ended up sounding like a schoolmaster as I firmly shouted "do NOT do that again" - not sure which is worse.
One of the most joyous things about being in my forties is calling van drivers and taxi drivers "son". "Look son, you're a professional driver. You know better than that"
Nearly got taken out by a woman in a non-indicating u-turning mercedes estate as I was gently filtering down the outside and she was attempting to bail from the traffic jam.
Having come to an abrupt halt to avoid banging into her, I knock on the window and inform her she didn't use her mirrors.
"I have a blind spot you know!" (as if that absolves her from ensuring the road is clear and then indicating before performing such a manoeuvre). Etc etc.
