General question, would you go to any old studio for a quick and easy little filler, or are you discerning all the time?
I have a little gap and want to get a 13 in it (on Friday 13th, also will be my 13th tattoo) probably going to pop to a local to work studio in my lunch break to get it.
Problem is i work in Dartford, Kent and i have no experience of local studios/ artists. -

100% discerning

Any old studio that's clean and decent for gap filler stuff, some people take tattoos too seriously

I don't see the difference between massive pieces and gap fillers personally, you can squeeze just as much artistry, personality and style into a little banger

Stop bitchin.
I'd say still have a look about.
You'd be gutted if you go somewhere cheap and easy and they do a shit job.
Guess the artist doesn't need to the the best artist in the world but you want some level of ability surely. -

My whole right arm is a cover up. Its very black, which is fine with me, but a lot of people think its pretty weird.

^^ Think very hard what you'll do, I'm still regretting a cover up on my back, for not getting enough infos on the tattoo artist (typical youth mistake: you want it now, at all costs). On paper it looked great and all, but not close enough to as on skin.

starting to scab/peel a little - Mrs EB has nicknamed him Neil Armsmudge - heh! ideas for progress?

Could the body be enlarged overall to stop the head looking oversized?
Agree he's not done justice but looks like it could be improved without resorting to a blackout. -
• #10373
possibly - how you mean, take the legs and body etc wider out?
-
• #10374
Challenger?

I think that's what I mean- build up the left arm up to the neck so it looks more like the original image. Can you play around with a sharpie to try a few attempts at fixing it before getting anything done?
no I went to someone I saw online who did dot work and asked him and he seemed pretty positive about it, so went with him
I will pluck up courage to share a pic :/
