Do you guys think hitting it with a dremel and a buffing pad of some kind (or possibly even sandpaper or steel wool) would be a bad idea? Some of the scratches are pretty deep and I'd really like to restore this beauty to its former glory.
I did pick up a couple of the green Scotch Bright pads as well as one of the double-sided buffing ones as a back-up as well though.
