Yes, are they the ones you can clip one side and use regular shoes the other side?

These ate Time style, but if you aren't hooked on SPDs could be worth a go. (I'm pretty sure you have to tighten some bits on them though as I've read stories of them coming loose)

Hmmm, thanks, definitely worth considering.
For right now I might stick with finding these. I've just moved to Oxford for 9months, so having clips on all the time isn't really ideal for small trips around town, but will also be going for some longer cycles... thought this was the perfect inexpensive solution.

Yep M530's are what you're after mate. I believe you can still clip in both sides but they have a much wider platform so you can also use them like flat pedals.
