@bothwell full sympathy here. I had a form of ME in my teens and it was hell. The good news is, please don't read the shit on the Internet. I found with my migraine it felt like a competition to see who was having a worse day than everyone else, and when i shared down positive news, got shot down.
People do recover from CFS, although time is the issue. My friend has recovered quiet well using a combination of diet and exercise. If you'd like me to put you in touch with her please let me know. (((Hugs)))
Heh. Yeah, I'm familiar with The Fear there - "maybe this is just going to be my life now/in future?" isn't a great thought for anyone to be having and I've been avoiding talking about it as much as possible too. On the plus side I've never heard of anyone catching it (or however the hell it happens) again after recovering once, so the relapse rate seems like it'll work in your favour and hopefully mine too.
