  • w_p means they've started giving the models numbers again - they got as far as "Ricoh GR Digital IV" in 2011, then scrapped the numbers when they released the "Ricoh GR" in 2013 (this is the camera I have). But now they've just released a (minor) update which they've called "Ricoh GR II" - so they're back to giving them numbers. wiki - digital

    I'd buy the 2013 Ricoh GR - the most recent update isn't very exciting (wifi, NFC, new effects....) and you can now get the 2013 GR for a reasonable price - it was around £350 a few months ago (when I got it hehehe) but is back up to about £430 now. I'd anticipate the price dropping again as we get towards christmas. Latest version is £600 currently!
