Thanks for the info. Probably should have just googled it.

It's less the Rinko that I was perplexed about and more someone else being able to remove my pedals without tools/failure resulting in the pedals coming free whilst still clipped in.

Knowing Compass, I hardly think they'd sell a product that'll come loose while clipped in.

For some people it's a nice little security to take pedals while locking it up, it's not uncommon for pedals to get stolen so they can be easily sold for a fiver or a tenner.
