  • I too have just put some PDWs on my Pearson Douche.
The gaps weren't that attractive so I drilled a hole in the rear one to connect it to the chainstay bridge.
They now look good but I'm running fixed so the rear brake connector looks pretty ugly.
Does anyone know if the SKS rear brake bridge works?
(I have the 30mm PDWs and SKS do a 35mm connector)
Also the PDWs have those tiny grub screws to connect the arms.
I know I'm gonna lose one soon - any idea where I could get some replacements?

  • Model shops are usually a good shout for grub screws and other small fixings

  • I didn't wanna use the weird over-caliper hanger that comes with the PDWs, so I got a SKS hanger and bent it to fit the shape/profile of the guards., works just fine.

It's not as sturdily constructed as the PDW one, but has held perfectly solidly for the past 3 months that i've had the guards.
