It worked! Quality is a bit bonk and it's squashed the aspect ratio though.

I use clipconverter.cc, but not sure how it'd deal with two hours' worth. The other thing that often works is to get an extension to block Flash/force HTML5 video, then download that.

Jdownloader works too

want to find a new station bike for my partner
ideally, step through, with mudguards and a rack or basket, chain guard, dynamo lights.
will have to strip it of QR's and ball bearing the allen key bolts.
this nearly fits the bill but does not have the basket
to get one with the basket you pay £100 more to also get shimano v brakes (instead of own brand) a brooks (thief magnet) saddle and a suspension seat post. all of which apart from the basket are not required
the crucial things are it is small and light, so it can be easily hung on a bike hook in the garage
it will only be ridden to the station, infrequently
currently we have a dutch bike but its a clunker, weighs a ton so it is consigned to cluttering our garden as it weighs too much to go up in the garage and there is not room for it go on the floor.
any other suggestions?

I have just got a Brother Swift Bronze track frame and neither of the axles of my track wheels fit into the (fab looking) rear drop outs. I think this is by half a mm or so anything I should do other than get out the file and cut some flats into the threads of my axle? Is this a common problem?? Seems easier to file the axle rather than the dropout...am I being dim??

Just buy a Ridgeback and use cheap battery light.

Could it just be thick paint on them drop outs?
-
• #71337
Stainless, stamped dropouts.. https://www.brothercycles.com/shop/swift-bronze/ Which is why I am confused...both wheels fitted Bob jackson Vigorellis...

I should file the dropouts, less chance of terminal damage, right, still feels odd...

Sillgey or Linus available out there?
Sillgey is small-wheeled, Linus is 700c.
I couldn't find a weight for those Orbeas, and they specifically don't list it; much of the time small wheeled bikes weigh the same as larger ones, so the only benefit may be size. -

get another "partner" pardnor

At ease; I filed down the dropouts and found they had a few mms of laquer inside, file slipped in easily with no metallic grinding.

Also search for "mini velo".

Look at the Bobbin bikes - 350 quid-ish, step though, 700c , basket. Would have to add dynamo. My missus has the mixte in cherry red and loves it.

I'm installing a quill to 1" stem adapter and then putting a 1 1/8" shim on that. Should I grease the shim?

Should I grease the shim?
Euph.?
A bit of Copaslip wouldn't do any harm, but steerer shims aren't a prime source of corrosion problems so you won't die for want of it.

Thanks Tester. I don't have any Copaslip but will lay off greasing my shim (no euph).
Cheers. Seems to be working. It's a 2 hour vid of a rugby game so screencap isn't really an option. Fingers crossed that this vid contains no nasty surprises.
