It's still a decent tyres with supple sidewall enough to make it more comfortable than the Hutchinson you were running, downside the tread is a little thicker but gripper, so it kinda balance out a bit.
Lastly, it's the cheapest 650b tyres in a size that'll fit any conversion you can get (35mm).
IMO, tyres like those Compass 32mm will make a massive difference in ride quality and as long you don't go too high a pressure, fairly resistant to getting punctured (in the sense that the tyres deform over sharp object unlike stiffer tyres).
