Please don't use the @ reply function when there are pics in a post - it clogs up the 'following' page. Thanks.

This is great, it's also an optical illusion when scrolling up and down the page.

Does anyone have any CF cards that they no longer need/use? Ideally looking for 64gb with at least 1000x speed. Want to have a go at raw video on the 5D. Can part ex for a 64gb sd card I bought last week.

Thanks :) all shot with GR in case anyone is interested

Did you do much to them? From what I've seen of that camera, it has quite a punchy look, which I like.

Love 4 and 5. The GR is a great camera! Curious what settings you're using too, I've not managed to get anything quite as good straight OOC with the GR.

I like the first one a lot

Yep I'm really pleased with it! Only annoying thing is a dust spot I seem to have collected already which is a bit of a shame but pretty easy to clone out. Well there's a bit of post processing but generally just curves/exposure/white balance tweaks. Camera in AV, settings as follows:
1: f/2.8 1/5 iso 3200
2: f/2.8 1.3s iso 1600
3: f/5 1/250 iso 400
4: f/2.8 1/350 iso 800
5: f/2.8 1/30 iso 6400
6: f/6.3 1/20 iso 1600
7: f/5.6 1/1000 iso 200 -

which GR?
-
• #10795
Just the GR. They ditched all the number suffixes with the last model.

It begins again... GR II is the latest iteration.

It begins again... So this has been discussed before then?
I want a GR, which one shall I buy?

w_p means they've started giving the models numbers again - they got as far as "Ricoh GR Digital IV" in 2011, then scrapped the numbers when they released the "Ricoh GR" in 2013 (this is the camera I have). But now they've just released a (minor) update which they've called "Ricoh GR II" - so they're back to giving them numbers. wiki - digital
There's also the minefield of their film camera names.. wiki - filmI'd buy the 2013 Ricoh GR - the most recent update isn't very exciting (wifi, NFC, new effects....) and you can now get the 2013 GR for a reasonable price - it was around £350 a few months ago (when I got it hehehe) but is back up to about £430 now. I'd anticipate the price dropping again as we get towards christmas. Latest version is £600 currently!

Have you looked into US sites, how are they for shipping and what might you pay in taxes and duties?
