I guess the pro peleton get on crashed bikes and ride them to the finish, but are those bikes then used again afterwards?

They sell them at over-inflated prices to suckers as ex-team bikes.

Another cyclist pulled out in front of me and then stopped at a roundabout, so I bumped their back wheel, but not fast, and managed to unclip and get my foot down without falling over. Nothing to worry about I'm sure.

You are joking, right? I'm pretty anal about my bikes, but bumping someone's tyre?
