Cheers mate! When you say plug do mean the wedge that is at the bottom of the quill? Because that is what I fucked up on mine. I basically shredded the threads on the inside of it so it it no longer tightens.
I could use the stem if I got a replacement wedge but the pro chromes appear to have a smaller thread then most stems.

Your bikes are awesome. I have a 110 pro chrome minus the plug (because I got it stuck in my mates rat bike when we were "mock building") that I can donate to the Niel Orrell cause if that helps?
