measure axle. Maybe it is 3/8 inch (9.525mm) and not 9mm.
after that file fork dropout (maybe not..) or get different axle.

Ignore steps 2 and 3 above and file the threads off 2 sides of the axle.

It looks like the right size, so push harder.

Grease the threads.

Try sitting on the bike?
Get a drill and waz it around?
Take to LBS. You're obviously smart enuf not ot have th rear axel in the front hub. -

Not surprised if you were putting a front wheel into the frame ;)

I think the principle would apply to a front wheel in a fork as well :)

replace fork ends
any good frame builder will be able to swap them out
how can i fix this?
