Flats wouldn't ruin my day...would probably make me late for work though.
Also possibles are these - in 37mm http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/TYCOSC/continental-sport-contact-wired-tyre - cheap as, likely a lot slipper in any kind of mud.
Still haven't settled on a slick for my Arkose, currently running WTB Nanos, looking at Compass Barlow Pass but can't help wonder if there's something in the cheaper touring tyres e.g. Schwalbe Marathons that 'proper' tourers seem to swear by.
Whats the difference? Are the Barlow Pass Worth £80 when I can get a set of marathons for £34 - or is there something else I should be considering.
Mainly used for commuting, mix of roads and sometimes bonus gravel/towpath. Thoughts?
