Is there such thing as an OTP complete with non-shit brakes, for under £1000.
I'm tossing up between road bike and CX to go on some longer rides around kent that won't leave my knees in shreds.

CAADX is currently in the lead in terms of CX but I'm hearing loads of bad things about the brakes.
Raleigh RX Comp is up there too but finding it hard to find any proper reviews on it.

Any recommendations.

The brakes on the CAADX can be remedy with compressionless housing.

With careful set up I actually find the brakes to be fairly decent, just the fact they supply it with normal cable housing let it down.

if i swapped the housing alone, would that make much positive difference?
