Still haven't settled on a slick for my Arkose, currently running WTB Nanos, looking at Compass Barlow Pass but can't help wonder if there's something in the cheaper touring tyres e.g. Schwalbe Marathons that 'proper' tourers seem to swear by.
Whats the difference? Are the Barlow Pass Worth £80 when I can get a set of marathons for £34 - or is there something else I should be considering.
Mainly used for commuting, mix of roads and sometimes bonus gravel/towpath. Thoughts?
And therefore reliability. If getting a flat will ruin your day get the touring tyre. If it's just part of the ride you might appreciate a thinner/faster tyre.
