Looks pretty flat
It isn't, in fact I don't think there's more than about a mile of level road on it :-) Nothing very steep or long, but Washington to Steyning is a roller coaster, then Steyning to Shoreham is a steady down hill which makes coming back to the finish a drag. AFAIK Dr Hutch holds the course record with 49:31, but I suspect that the event record for the Mitre one is quite a bit slower as it's usually anywhere from quite cool to bloody freezing on the last weekend of October. If it's still and warm, you might just dip under 54:00, but still and warm rarely go together so late in the autumn. Don't forget that the clocks go back!
Spanks.
Anyone ridden the G25/93? Looks pretty flat but SC? so winding and little traffic advantage.
Still could be last oppurtunity to drop my 25 PB ? http://www.sussexca.org.uk/g2593.html
