Morning Glory has just enough charm to make it worth watching an not being a shit fluff film. Plus Harrison Ford.

I Just finish to watch Narcos, the story of Pablo Escobar; what a great hijo de puta!
An alpha bandit who makes kneel the entire Colombian corrupted/filthy politician establishment; and for so many years.
I loved the subtle comparison between the two while asking who's the most/worst criminal?
Definitely an excellence of cinematography for the boys of every taste. And he's handsome too!
Don Pablo
El Doctor (The Doctor)
El Mágico (The Magical)
El Padrino (The Godfather)
El Patrón (The Boss)
El Señor (The Lord)
El Zar de la Cocaína
El King de los Banditos -

Can't wait for the continuation…

It was really good and set up for another series but I didn't think there was loads of his life left to show, can't imagine the second will be as good with a severely reduced pace.
-

Yes, I was thinking the same, maybe less episodes? Or maybe the camera will focus more on the Search Bloc, Los Pepes, the Cali Cartel and right-wing paramilitaries led by Carlos Castaño, who would later fund the Peasant Self-Defense Forces of Córdoba and Urabá.
Though El Patron is the one that will be remembered; also like a Robin Hood.
No one knows what Wagner Moura will do next, though.
Will see.

From Saving Private Ryan to Interstellar to The Martian, America has spent a ridiculous amount of money to retrieve Matt Damon.
-
• #11838
America has been made much more money than what it spend thanks to Matt Demon, not that I'm happy about that.
-
• #11839
Damon's everyman, I don't mind him, he's not a terrible actor like Johnny Depp. He's doing Bourne 5 with Greengrass

I wasn't quite so taken with Narcos...definitely felt like they'd added a lot of 'spice' in the name of entertainment when i reckon they could have made it a lot grittier (a la Gomorrah). That being said, it was entertaining enough for me to finish watching the first series

There is no art.. in Narcos, just a good piece of soft entertainment, an easy and warm watch.
I def agree that make it in a more realistic way, like you said Gomorrah, would have been much more interesting, but the world is populated with too many faint-hearted who prefer a popcorn watch. For me when is about crime anything goes…:)

Has anybody seen The Martian?
Le Manfriend has his doubts...he suspect it's another American-fk-yeah and happy-ending-against-all-odds movie.
On that note, good sci-fi...tips?
(no he didn't like Ex Machina either...hard to please movie-wise that one) :) -

Saw it last night, 3D, not a US flag waver, the last 5 mins were unnecessary imho, other than that pretty great.
Gravity 3D is still no 1 for me though

mate saw it said it was pretty bad, emotionally cold, hard to feel anything for Damon's character as he himself acts it like he hasn't a care in the (space) world - lack of tension
most worrying is that Benedict Wong is now the size of Mars himself

Tx ^_^
Primer is still my nr1 of the Indie ones, nice list here with some unknown to me :)
It does seem sci-fi is sorta...dead? Compared to the 60s/70s even though we can now do some things they only dreamed about. -
