A few from the Super Blood Moon! Wasn't planning to go out but it was 3am and I couldn't sleep. Was out until about 6. Ended up cycling round London trying to find a decent spot. Unfortunately my longest lens is a 50mm so I had to make do. The 2 close ups are quite extreme crops. My tripod isn't in London so I was using my bag as a makeshift stand.

If I'm being honest I stood there for like 15 minutes waiting for the opportunity. Somebody set up fairground mirrors in town, so naturally everyone was taking selfies.

I think those are pretty nice.

Went to bed really early that night but set alarm to 3:30, went outside shortly after.
Didn't even bother to bring the camera as I thought "the longest lens I have is 200mm, not enough for a close-up".
Seing your images I realize I have been foolish; even though they're not close-ups they're very atmospheric - just beautiful.

I'm in the market for a new compact and am hearing good things (on here and elsewhere) about the Ricoh GRD3. Has anyone got any tips on the best place to buy one? Online or London shop. Cheers.
