I have a bit of a dilemma. I wasn't able to solve a problem shortly before I left for my bikepack trip - namely charging things. I understand you can get converters that'll provide a 5V ???Amp output from a dynamo hub, but I have Ayup lights which need something like a 7.4V output to charge.
Has anyone seen some sort of off the shelf or even DIY solution to charging Ayup batteries? Just want to know before I start prototyping some electronic wizardry.
Ultimately the ideal setup will have a 5V port and 7.4V port...although I may be able to get away with one port and some sort of resistance circuit to bring 7.4V down to 5V...
Dynamo hub peoples!!!
