do you still have the headset? i bought a puch fork a while ago by mistake, but couldn't use it due to the headset issue. will have to see if i still have it but may be interested if so...

Afraid not, the headset was in a bad way.
If anyone has an appropriate headset, or knows where to get one, please speak up. Are they really that rare? I'm keen to avoid consigning this frame to the graveyard.

Is there still the headset issue?

Yes. This has ended up living on the wall in my parents' garage in Bedfordshire. If you wanted to go and collect it you'd be welcome to.

Since i‘m based in Vienna i‘ve accsess to these headsets which are used on frames like this. Thats why. ;) But thx for your offer!
70's (maybe) Puch Prima frame, 57cm seat tube. It's fairly beaten but I think it looks good.
This was built up as a single speed commuter, and it served me well until the fork broke. I wanted to repair it but it seems it has a non-standard headtube (for Austrian headset) which I'm told is pretty rare. Apparently Puch were using non-standard parts on these road bikes back in the day.
So if anyone is interested, for a project, it's yours - if you can come and pick it up from Highgate N6.
