Pursuit - Lo Pro - Mercian Rebuild - Dura Ace, H+Son, Rolls, Cinelli, Miche

so......there is a massive sentimental story behind this bike (frame anyway) but i wont go into it for it's probably boring for you........

This bike, about 3 years ago, 'popped open' while i was riding it. Luckily i was going about 3 miles an hour. It came out of the BB. I held on to the frame for this whole time and finally had it send of to Mercian who replaced the down tube and the top tube and did a complete overhaul of the frame. It was costly.....but i thought it was worth it.

I finally finished the build the other day.....took it for a few test spins and thats it.

It has a pretty nice geometry.....quite shallow but a nice aggressive ride. Light and nippy.

I originally bought the f+f from here....the guy who sold it to me said it was made for some Russian race team back in the 80's but this bike (rider) failed to participate. I know nowt all else. Columbus tubing though.....except for the replacement tubes by Mercian.

I wont get my money back from it....but i'm going through 'some things' and i need to get rid of this sentimentality........and another bike.
