This is my current fav of mainstream bikes. Would change out the seat but...mmm
-
• #753
Ooof...
Though I do already love the bike I have so looking at others is a little moot
-
• #754
That's never stopped you before though... ;)
-
• #756
So has it arrived?
-
• #757
That is a seriously long bike!!
-
• #758
Yeah he's a tall guy!

That is nice, it has to be said. I'd considered a Propel but all the colourways in my size/budget were horrendous.
I wouldn't be able to pull the blue off though. No blue socks :-)

Ah, always the way!

I tried a Propel in Pedal Rev a while ago when I was looking at the TCX. Very light, very nice and waaaay out of my price range. Seems that to Giant nice "baby blue" colour schemes = muy caro.

Yours for 2 bags of sand and a monkey.

^ Corrrr!

I had a look at one in my price range:
I think you'll agree it hasnt quite got the same mmmmmm factor. Also not in my size :)

That cable routing looks messy too
-
• #767
Well, I'm not a fan of internal routing full stop. I agree it can look nice but I've sat there trying to feed cables through a frame for hours with hoovers magnets and all sorts - fuck that shit.

Can confirm nice new bike is nice.

Wireless Di2 - trickling down to the masses in 2017
-
• #771
Not for me until it's a shit ton lighter than mechanical
-
• #772
That's v2 in 2018 after all mamils have upgraded in 2017.
-
• #773
Until then I'll carry on with my CampagYOLO
-
• #774
Is it all that much heavier than mechanical?
My only gripe with it is cabling the bike up and routing everything. Looks like an absolute ballache . Sram wireless ftw
-
• #775
^ Oh yeah, one day into SRAM ownership and you've forgotten all about the Campag! ;)
To be honest I'm quite glad I got last years model, I'm not overly keen on this years colorways.
As far as the shoutyness is concerned, I don't think 'dales are as shouty as some other brands. Doesn't bother me all that much anyway. I've always had a bit of a hard on for the Supersix Evo, there aren't many other "mainstream" bikes I'd be eager to part my cash with.
