There is some potential in adrevporn's idea of hiding all the pub names. Erm ... except for the Greyhound, which is now a backpackers' hostel in any case.
Wests needs a home, though. I think touring is distinctly a second best. We could still always try the pub suggested by Proctor., the Hammersmith Ram on King Street.

I walked past a handful of bikes on Thursday night; I thought for a minute, 'no, it can't be' but I had important milk to be purchased.
Point of information Schick: Greyhound is still a pub, it just has a hostel upstairs, so I'm sure they will welcome you if you wish.
PS you are all always welcome at Norths where Oliver's appearance in an official pub photo will be made permanent at the Flask this coming Tues.

(If you've not been) I Ride past the Ram everyday, plenty of lock space out the front by the road. There's a small bit of seating out the front, but the alley next to it has lots of space. Not seen round the back

The metal people tins which transport Londoners are resting tomorrow.
Even more reason to commune with fellow cyclists in smug stories and telling how much you eat, how far you ride, how funny you crash etc... loudly..
Meet at Albert memorial 6pm for feeder ride out to Richmond for a lap or something then back to hammersmith for tramp beers.
Any interest let me know..?

It looks like this hasn't happened for a bit... I am up for reviving it, though change of location might be welcome? Red Lion and Pineapple in Acton(I am actually here now if anyone wants to drop in), or @adrevporn 's suggestion of rotating a few months back? I am in NW10, so SheBu or Acton is better for me than somewhere right down in Hammersmith or something...
-
• #24587
Shepherd's Bush sounds good for me (NW10 too), no idea of good pubs around there though. Definitely up for some beers though!
-
• #24588
Only thing I know of going in NW10 is the Harlesden Picture Palace or Le Junction - neither of which I particularly like, nor do they have obvious places for bikes... The Grand Junction Arms down by Park Royal on the canal is really nice and you can ride right out to the back area to safely keep bikes, but it is in no-man's-land to some extent, and there is the smell of the McVities factory next door to contend with...

Depends if you like biscuits! We could try it for one and decide after that?
-
• #24590
sure - lets do it!
If we want to keep to thursdays I'm free tomorrow night - also free this evening if better for future planning (next week likely won't work for me). -

Live west a lot now. Red Lemon on All Saints rd off portabello is pretty good for food and local brewed ale. Portabello brewery

...and I do like biscuits - precisely the problem: you smell the chocolatey-oaty-buttery goodness of a chocolate hobnob and you just cant have them! I just imagine every time how amazing a freshly-baked hobnob would taste, knowing I am only metres away, and I can't have one. ever.

Let's hope they mean disco biscuits.

@b&d @Señor_Bear @31trum - bring it on with the intervention! disco biscuits dance-off at the Grand Junction Arms at 7pm ?
Are you down @hamrack and @skydancer?
I think @Francium87 also lives not too far away, if you are free - I want to see that fluoro type in the flesh! -
• #24596
can't seem to @ reply you... but I hope you'll show us how to run a Wests riot properly ...

Well done for reviving this. Busy tonight. In for next week...
Or we could just check this thread.
Remember the japes we had when people didn't know which pub to go to? Oh happy days.
